Erica Harkins is a director, actor, producer, and writer based out of DFW. She is a recent TCU graduate with a BFA in Musical Theatre and a minor in Creative Writing.

As a director, she had the privilege of working in NYC, regionally, and with children’s productions. Erica loves working on everything from intimate portraits of real life to lilting fantastical chorus numbers. Erica believes that regardless of the style, every show is a collection of characters living life truthfully onstage.

As a producer, Erica works with WaterTower Theatre on various mainstage and developmental projects. She has produced 4 original works and is in the process of transferring one project to the UK.

As a performer, Erica Harkins is a character actress and dancer, with strong comedic timing, a dry sense of humor, and authority most people don’t want to mess with. She’s funny… but with a bite. With extensive dance training, Erica can tap her toes right into your production!

An avid book reader, she is currently reading Agatha Christie’s And Then There Were None and binge-watching Gilmore Girls for the 17th time. On the rare, not sweltering Texas summer day, she doesn’t like long walks or the beach.
